America's Sweetheart Photoshoot Behind the Scenes Video

I finally dropped my debut album “America’s Sweetheart” and it was very important to me to have a cover with a classic image that would really define who I am as an artist. I’ve come a long way with my music and personal lifestyle and feel I’m finally at a level I’ve always dreamt of reaching. I still have much farther to go but I’m at a great place in my life. I grew up broke with a single mom and I’ve been through a lot in my 32 years of living. I wanted this album to tell my story and also show the woman I’ve grown to become. I will always be little ratchet Chanel aka C-Lizzie, at heart, but I feel at my age it is time to show a wiser, more refined, version of myself. Behind the ratchet is a wise young woman with big dreams and I want to inspire other young girls to change for the better in their lives and showcase a classier side of themselves.
I wanted this album cover to be an image that inspired other young girls to go for their dreams, as well as be an image that delivered some eye candy for my guy fans too lol. I was so excited to shoot the cover for this album and we actually shot two scenes for my “Heavens Calling” music video the same day. Check out the behind the scenes of this super fun shoot day below!
