Sonic Drive-In Commercial (Sept 11 2020)

Hey, guys! Sorry I haven’t updated the blog recently – I’ve been busy filming a Sonic Drive-In commercial, plus I’ve been slammed with filming Ridiculousness and finishing up recording some music for my album. I did want to hop on here and tell y’all about filming this commercial, though!

About 2 months ago, I had the honor of shooting a Sonic Drive-In commercial — and the honor of having work during the pandemic, period. When I got the offer, I wasn’t sure how we would be able to go about filming a commercial from home, but with masks, COVID testing, a lot of hand sanitizer, and half the crew watching and directing via Zoom, we were able to pull it off!

It was so fun to shoot, and not to mention, I’m also a big fan of Sonic’s food LOL. The commercial was sort of like shooting a mini episode of Ridiculousness and I think it’s so cute how it turned out. Y’all are gonna have to let me know what you think, because I’m down to do lots more commercials in the future. It was a totally new experience and I really loved it!

I also think it’s really cool how everybody involved kind of came together to do all of this from home. I never would’ve thought that was possible, but ya girl learned something new about filming commercials, especially during a pandemic. Lockdown doesn’t have to stop you from being creative!
